Shema O Islam!
Broadcast Dates: 1st – 22nd Jan 2010
Do you know that Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity? Do you also know that there are second and even third generation Muslims living in virtually every major city across Canada and that number is consistently rising every single year? The Lord desires that none should perish and that Christians would be a blessing to Muslims by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Now, we all know that the mere mention of Islam can spark intense and often hateful controversy. But let the record show that we are not going to go there in this series of TCC Radio. When the final credits roll, we are hoping and praying that it will serve as a great Gospel outreach resource that you can confidently lend to your Muslim an non-Muslim loved ones.

Producer’s Additional Comments
We discuss how the death penalty is about apeasement and not correction in Part 4. What we didn’t have time to get to in the episode is how “correction” is accomplished through the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Christ. Because those who put their faith in Christ not only die in Him, we also then live in Him. So while appeasement is absolutely necessary, it is not the entire process in it’s self.
The Lord tells us that there are none good except God in verses such as Mk 10:18 and we know that everyone is a sinner Rom 3:23 clearly we must be “corrected” if we are to enter into His presence. Correction comes for the Christian in that our old sinning nature, who we were outside of Christ dies spiritually and we are given new life in Christ. The old nature is completely removed from the picture at resurrection. The new life we are given is that of Christ, and we gain His nature which is sinless. The sinning nature who was spiritually baptized into Christ’s death on the Cross is finally put to complete death. In heaven no one will sin, we will each only have the nature of Christ.
