Do you wear a mask? Oscar Wilde said “Man is least himself when he talks about his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth.” So, who lies about who they really are? Have you ever really thought about who you truly are underneath it all? Are we as individuals fundamentally different than everyone else or is there something about each of us as people that none of us can change that makes us all alike? Poets talk about the masks that people wear but why does a mask seem like reality to the person wearing it? If it’s just a mask and not who we really are then it’s a lie isn’t it? That begs the question, whose lie is it? Are we the ones lying? Are we being lied to or is it something all together different?

Homosexuality. In one church extreme homosexuality is seen as the ultimate sin. Not true. In another church extreme homosexuals are encouraged to serve in the ministry. Wrong again. But we see both of these, and many other variations going on in churches, and without, all over North America. So if there really is something called Truth, then what’s the truth of this subject? What does the Bible really say, and how should that make the Church engage the culture on this hot topic? Are homosexuals born that way? If so is there just condemnation for them or might there actually be hope even for those who have little choice in their sexuality?
The Church. Who or what is the Bride of Christ and what is her purpose in the here and now? What is it about “going to church” that gets people so excited about inviting others to join them? Is a church a social club or a community program? Or is there something that makes those faithful Sunday morning worshipers really different than everyone else? Does the Church really need to entice people to visit? Join TCC as we take you on a humbling journey to discover the truth about God’s family.

Judaism. Why does God’s Word say that the Gospel is to the Jew first, and then to the Gentiles? Why was Paul the Apostle willing to give up his salvation for the sake of the unsaved Jews? Many Gentiles seem to forget that Jesus was a Jew. In fact, nowhere was the link between God’s redemptive plan and Jesus more clear and powerful than in the suffering servant passages in the book of the Jewish prophet Isaiah.
Do you know that more Jewish people have come to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) in just the last two decades than in the last two millenia? This special series of TCC Radio will reach out to the Jews with the Gospel and help Christians learn how to reason from the Scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit of God to reveal Yeshua’s true identity to the Jewish people.

The Roman Catholic Church. Did Christ proclaim that He would build the Catholic Church on Simon Peter the rock, as the very first Pope?
Protestants get their title from the fact that they grouped together to protest the Catholic Church and after this protest to forge ahead with the belief that Eternal Life is given through Christ, by Grace through Faith apart from works. If the Catholics are right that Christ built His Church on Peter whom He called a rock then they are the true Christians and Protestantism is simply a false religion. We better look into this.

This is a TCC Radio SPECIAL BROADCAST. Have you ever wondered what a Christian means when they say that “Jesus died for your sins”? How could someone else die for you and your sins? Maybe you’ve wondered why Christians say someone who sins a couple of times in this life, which lasts for only 80 or so years, will have to spend all Eternity in Hell unless they are saved. Maybe you’ve sort of done the math and realized that these same Christians tell you you’re going to spend ETERNITY in the Lake of Fire, but Jesus only stayed dead until the third day. How can that make up for Eternity? Did He really pay the full price? Did He get off easy? Is it all just a nonsensical story?

What exactly IS a Christian? It’s a common saying “Christianity isn’t a religion, it’s a relationship” – but what does that really mean? And how does such a relationship play out in the lives of those who claim to be Christian? If our claim of “being” Christian were actually true wouldn’t life in a “Christian Nation” like Canada be… well… better? This time TCC hit the streets, AND we ambushed a few of our spiritual family members, catching them off-guard to hear what THEY would have to say when we put THEM in the hot seat.

Absolute Truth. What is it? The same question that Pilate asked 2,000 years ago society is still trying to answer. Truth, and even our own concept of truth, affects everything we say, think and do. From lofty topics such as justice, to what bugs us, to the every day things like the price of gasoline truth and our concept of it is constantly at work in our lives. But is there such a thing as “absolute truth”, is there anything that’s true for everyone everywhere no matter their circumstances? Or is everything relative? How will the answers to these questions stand up to logical and scientific tests? We’ll explore all of this and more as this four part series plays out, in the studio and on the street.

Tonight TCC Radio is fully live and an hour long as we set out to help Pastor Norm Millar extend his reach and spread the message that Christians need never be silent about the Gospel.
Producer’s Comment: This episode shows how even when things get tripped up by circumstances out of your control you don’t have to stop sharing the Gospel. I hope you heard how sincerely Cory wanted Bill to hear, understand and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Isn’t it amazing that Bill stuck it out and struggled to hear what Cory was saying? Who says that you can’t tell people they are sinners who must repent to be saved in Christ? Tonight you heard Bill overcome one obstacle after another so he could hear this very message. Do you know anyone else who might be like Bill – IF you give them the opportunity?
After the show update: After the show Bill stuck around to chat with Jeff & Randy. Cory decided not to miss the chance to meet him and rushed over there right away. Here’s the whole group together at William’s Coffee Pub.
Left to right: Jeff, Cory, Bill, Randy
Special Thanks to William’s Coffee Pub who allowed us to conduct this live interview in their establishment which was much nicer than doing it outside in -20 degrees. Please check out William’s Coffee Pub at Victoria Park in London Ontario.
